(Video) MEXICO’S VIOLENCE INCREASES, FIVE WOMAN FOUND DEAD AT ACAPULCO RESORT

Mexico’s violence continues to escalate. The recent killing of five women, who allegedly all worked at a beauty parlor, confirms the fears many have about visiting Mexico.

On Saturday morning the women were found brutally murdered in and around a Mexican beach resort in Acapulco. Three of the women, including a 14-year-old girl, were found decapitated in the salon. The two 30-year-old women, were naked, with their hands and feet tied with masking tape. Police later found the other two women both also decapitated, dumped outside the resort, one in a car and one in the street.

Mexican media confirmed all victims worked at the beauty parlor. Police have not provided a motive for the killings, but let’s face it, the murders probably had something to do with the drug wars going on in Mexico. What is truly disheartening, is the woman may have been innocent victims, the cartel is on a war path and will hurt anyone for any reason.

According to the government, over 15,000 drug-related crimes occurred in Mexico in 2010. And more disturbing, is that over 30,000 people have died in drug-related violence since Mexican President Felipe Calderon began fighting to stop organized crime in December 2006.

Many countries, including the U.S. are encouraging tourists to stay clear of most cities in Mexico until the violence is under control. The problem is, it does not look like this will happen anytime soon. Reports suggest the terror is spilling into the U.S. which makes us know it is getting worse.

Drugs, money and power cause people to lose their minds. What a sad and tragic way to live and die. How could someone be so cruel?

WARNING: Video is violent, if you are sensitive it may not be good to watch. This was produced in 2009, but the crime is far worse now.
